Product Description

The Gigasitron 2.0-inch TFT LCD Display Module is a compact color display solution for embedded electronics and user-interface projects. With a 240×320 QVGA resolution, it provides enough screen area for menus, icons, sensor data, graphics, status screens, and small GUI applications.

This module is based on the widely used ST7789V TFT LCD controller, making it suitable for many microcontroller platforms such as STM32, ESP32, Arduino, RP2040 / Raspberry Pi Pico, and other SPI-capable MCUs. The display uses a 4-wire SPI interface, reducing the number of required control pins while keeping the connection simple for embedded development.

The LCD panel uses a white LED backlight and has a listed glass display area of 30.6 mm × 40.8 mm, with the LCD module size specified as 35.8 mm × 51.2 mm × 2.0 mm. The optical specification lists a typical center brightness of 200 cd/m², typical contrast ratio of 200, and response-time values of 15–20 ms rising and 20–30 ms falling, making it suitable for general embedded display use.

Based on the PCB images, your breakout board also provides practical through-hole header access for SPI and control signals, plus onboard labeling for easier wiring. The back side includes the Gigasitron branding and a microSD card socket area, which makes the module more useful for image, bitmap, font, or data-storage based display applications.
